Hosts typically track some mix of: - Bookings: dates, nights, channel, gross price and fees. - Costs: cleaning, laundry, utilities, consumables, repairs, insurance. - Occupancy and average nightly rate by month. - Compliance dates: gas safety, electrical checks, fire risk assessment review, licence renewal. - Maintenance and inventory replacement.

Keeping records also helps with tax returns and, in England, any business rates evidence of days let.
